f(x) = 4x - 1.....the y int is -1

g(x) :
(1,3)(4,6)
slope = (6 - 3) / (4 - 1) = 3/3 = 1

y = mx + b...using (1,3)...slope(m)  = 1
3 = 1(1) + b
3 = 1 + b
3 - 1 = b
2 = b

y = x + 2.....the y int is 2

so g(x) has a higher y intercept

b. The function g(x) has a higher y-intercept.
